An historic Pembrokeshire haulier

Belt Transport has been the leading haulier in West Wales for almost a century. For four generations, the Belt family have been transporting goods around Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

Like many long-established haulage companies, we had humble beginnings. A simple horse and cart were originally used to transport coal, livestock and fertilisers around the local area. The large fleet of lorries and vans we use now might be a far cry from the old days, but the original brown and cream livery lives on.

Connecting West Wales

Although, the transportation methods might have changed, the core of the business hasn’t. Just as it did 100 years ago, Belt Transport continues to provide haulier and delivery services to its customers in West Wales. The Hospitality, Farming, Tourism, Building, Quarrying, Shipping, LNG and Petrochemical industries rely on us every day. We’re here to keep local businesses fully-supplied and well-connected; to each other, the rest of the UK and the world.

A century of success requires the ability to adapt to changes in local industry as well as keep up with global advances. Our drinks logistics, warehouse and distribution services are always evolving with our customers’ needs.

In 2008, we formed a sister company, the Templeton Beer Wine and Spirit Company to give the local hospitality trade a first class 7 day-a-week drinks delivery service.
